Low Pressure (Altitude)
Thermodyne Engineering Ltd. performs tests on material, components and systems to check whether the effects of low pressure or altitude affect performance. Factors tested include: cooling under low pressure and resilience to rapid change in air pressure.
Thermodyne Engineering Ltd. can perform such tests in accordance with RTCA-DO-160 for aerospace components or MIL-STD-810, Method 500.5 for military components.
Such tests can determine the physical, chemical and electrical characteristics of the system, such as leakage from gasket sealed enclosure, deformation, rupture or burst of sealed pressure retaining components, overheating due to poor heat transfer conditions, evaporation of fluids, arcing or corona phenomena, etc.
All tests are conducted strictly with ISO 9001-2015 Certified Quality Management System and, for military goods, Controlled Goods Program (CGP) regulations.
