A train of shafts, gears and breaks, with several pieces of rotating equipment attached to each other, can result in vibrations that could be axial or torsional mode.

For example, if a pump is attached to a gear reducer, to a long shaft connected to motor through another long shaft, then torsional vibration can cause this train of components to be subject to fatigue failure or excessive noise.

Thermodyne Engineering Ltd. can carry out such analysis to detect this type of vibration and provide solutions for it.
