Mechanical shock is encountered in many applications, such as impact of two component, falling, explosion, sudden opening or closing of valves, actuators, etc.

Analysis for shock may include the following:

  • Stresses resulting from the shock.
  • Vibration due to the after shock effect on the system.
  • Determining deflections as a result of natural frequency after the shock.
  • Material behavior.
  • Propagation of waves.

Thermodyne Engineering Ltd. provide services in designing components or analyzing them for the effect of shock.
