Seismic Analysis is used to determine the effect of an earthquake on the equipment, building, piping, structure or any other component that is affected by seismic event.

Thermodyne Engineering Ltd. can perform seismic analysis including the following:

  • Determining the modes of vibrations.
  • Determining the stresses at different modes of vibration and combined effects.
  • Dynamic or static analysis.
  • Implementing floor response spectra.
  • Conducting analysis in accordance with many Codes the Standards, such as, IEEE, UBC, BELCORE, ASME, Etc.
  • Prototyping and conducting actual seismic tests to demonstrate real cases, including strain gauging and deflection measurements.
  • Preparation of computer models to simulate real seismic effects.

All work is performed using Finite Element analysis method or Classical code calculations.
